This article will guide you through the steps to add new package settings or modify existing ones within your eShipz dashboard. Managing your package settings allows you to predefine common package dimensions and weights, streamlining your shipping process and reducing manual entry errors.
What are Package Settings?
Package settings in eShipz refer to the pre-configured dimensions (length, width, height) and weight for different types of packages you frequently ship. By defining these settings, you can quickly select a pre-set package type when creating a shipment, saving you time and ensuring consistency in your shipping declarations.
Steps to Add or Change Package Settings:
Please follow the steps below to manage your package settings:
Step 1: Log in to your eShipz Dashboard
Step 2: Navigate to Package Settings

Step 3: Add or Edit Package Details
On the "PACKAGE SETTINGS" page, you will find options to manage your package configurations:
Add all the details of your package.
Click plus button to add multiple packages.
Once completed, click Save to confirm your new package setting.
Step 4: Verify Changes (Optional but Recommended)
After adding or editing, you can verify your changes by checking the list of package settings on the "PACKAGE SETTINGS" page.
The new or updated package configuration should now be visible.
Tips for Effective Package Settings:
Be Specific: Use clear and distinct names for your package settings to easily identify them later (e.g., "Jewelry Pouch," "Standard Apparel Box").
Common Sizes First: Prioritize setting up dimensions for your most frequently used package sizes.
Regular Review: Periodically review your package settings to ensure they remain accurate and relevant to your shipping needs.
Units Consistency: Always pay attention to the units of measurement (cm/inches, kg/lbs) to avoid errors in shipping calculations.
