How to Set Up Item SKU–HSN Mapping in the New UI?

What is an SKU?
The SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) code is a unique alphanumeric identifier used in logistics to identify and differentiate products in a warehouse or distribution center. This code is used to keep precise control of products, know where they are located in the warehouse, how many are in stock, and what their status is.

What is HSN?
HSN stands for Harmonized System of Nomenclature. It is an international numerical system created by the World Customs Organization to classify and name products for trade and taxes.

How to Set Up Item SKU- HSN Mapping in the New UI
This feature allows you to configure Item SKU–HSN Mapping in the eShipz New UI. If the customer requests SKU–HSN mapping, follow the steps below to configure it successfully.

Step 1: Log in to your eShipz account.


Step 2: Navigate to Settings and open the Shipment Setup page.


Step 3: Click on Item SKU–HSN Mapping.


Step 4: Click the Add SKU icon.


Step 5: Enter the required product details provided by the customer which must be added in sales channel:

  1. Product SKU – A unique identifier for the product.
  2. Product Description – The description of the product.
  3. HSN Code – The HSN code corresponding to the product category.
  4. GST % – The applicable GST percentage.
  5. Product Dimensions – Enter the product dimensions as applicable.


Once all the required details have been entered, click Save.


The Item SKU–HSN Mapping will be configured successfully.
