Shopify Public App [version 2023-07] Release Notes– August 2023 build

What’s New?


We have come up with more exciting features where users can enable tracking notifications, create reverse shipments , generate reports as well cancel shipments

Reverse Shipments 

The user will be able to create the reverse shipment for fulfilled orders thru shopify public app.

STEP NO 1: For the fulfilled orders, click on ‘Create Reverse Shipment’ icon [Refer Image No:1.1]

STEP NO 2: The Reverse shipment page will be displayed with all the necessary details prefilled, select the services from dropdown [Refer Image No:1.2] and click on ‘Create Reverse Shipment’ button [Refer Image No:1.3] a success validation is displayed [Refer Image No:1.4]

User can download the reverse shipment labels from the UI [Refer Image No:1.5]

Cancel Shipments

With Cancel Shipment option, user will be able to cancel the fulfilled orders on shopify public app


STEP NO 1: For the fulfilled order click on ‘Cancel Shipment’ icon [Refer Image NO:2.1] the pop-up to cancel the shipment will be displayed [Refer Image No:2.2] click on ‘Cancel’ button [Refer Image No:2.3] the shipment will be cancelled and validation message will be displayed. [Refer Image No:2.4]

Tracking Notifications

  1. SMS Settings

The users can now integrate the SMS settings thru shopify public app. When an order is placed the SMS messages can be delivered to the respective Sender or the Receiver. Here, we provide the numbers of both Sender and the Receiver, and we have the SMS getting triggered for respective status.


STEP NO 1: Go to settings dropdown[Refer Image No:4.1], click on ‘SMS Settings’ [Refer Image No:4.2] and SMS settings page will be displayed where we can enable/disable the permissions for sender or receiver number with different tracking status [Refer Image No:4.3] and click on ‘Save’ [Refer Image No:4.4]

  1. WhatsApp Settings


The Users can now integrate the WhatsApp settings thru shopify public app. When any order is placed , the Whatsapp messages can be delivered to the respective Sender or the Receiver. Here, we provide the numbers of both Sender and the Receiver, and we have the WhatsApp getting triggered for respective status.

  1. EMAIL Settings

The users can now integrate the Email settings thru shopify public app. When an order is placed the emails will be triggered for respective sender and receiver.


STEP NO1: Go to settings dropdown [Refer Image No:6.1], click on ‘Email Settings’ [Refer Image No:6.2] and Email settings page will be displayed where we can enable/disable the permissions for sender or receiver number [Refer Image No:6.3] and click on ‘Save’ [Refer Image No:6.4]

Package Settings


The users can add their package dimensions thru shopify public app


STEP NO 1: Go to settings dropdown [Refer Image No:7.1], click on ‘Package Settings’ [Refer Image No:7.2] and Package settings page will be displayed where we can add the box dimensions [Refer Image No:7.3] and click on ‘Save’ [Refer Image No:7.4]

Pickup Warehouses


Users can now add their pickup warehouses in shopify public app


STEP NO 1: Go to settings dropdown [Refer Image No:8.1], click on ‘Pickup Warehouses’ [Refer Image No:8.2] and ‘Add New Pickup Warehouse Address’ page will be displayed where we can add the warehouse address [Refer Image No:8.3] and click on ‘Save’ [Refer Image No:8.4]

Customize Invoice Settings

The provision is provided to allow the users to customize invoice settings thru shopify public app


STEP NO 1: Go to settings dropdown [Refer Image No:8.1], click on ‘Customize Invoice Settings’ [Refer Image No:8.2] and Invoice settings page will be displayed where we can enable the custom invoice format [Refer Image No:8.3] and click on ‘Save’ [Refer Image No:8.4]

Shipment Reports

The provision is provided to allow the users to download the shipment reports thru shopify public app


STEP NO 1: Go to settings dropdown [Refer Image No:9.1], click on ‘Shipment Reports’ [Refer Image No:9.2]

We can download the reports by clicking on Fetch Data [Refer Image No:9.3]

Limitations
  1. Bulk Actions will be applicable only for fulfilled tab
  2. Bulk Actions are applicable only for Forward shipments
