Steps for integration of Offline Carriers

Steps for integration of Offline Carriers

An Offline Carrier is used for B2B shipments where the logistics partner does not have a direct API integration with eShipz or when shipment details need to be added manually.

Configuring an Offline Carrier allows users to create and manage shipments in eShipz even when the carrier is not directly connected through an API. This helps maintain shipment records, track shipment details, and manage shipment operations efficiently within eShipz.

Step 1: Log in to eShipz

Log in to your eShipz account using your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Carrier Configuration

Go to Settings.
Click Integrations.
Navigate to Carrier Configurations.

Step 3: Select the Carrier

Search for Offline Carriers.
Select Offline Carriers from the list of available carriers.

Step 4: Add Service

Click Add Service to begin the carrier configuration.

Step 5: Enter Basic Details

Provide the following information:

Alias Name
Account Type

Step 6: Enter Carrier Details

Enter the following required details:

Proxy Slug
Display Name
Vehicle Type
Customer Code
Service Type
Tracking Token
Label Copies
Barcode Format

Additional Configuration Options

Ignore Service Check

Enable the Ignore Service Check option if you want the service to be available regardless of the uploaded serviceable pincodes.

When enabled, shipment creation will bypass pincode validation.

Allow Duplicate AWB

Enable the Allow Dupe AWB option to allow shipment creation using an AWB number that has already been used.

Step 7: Configure Label Settings

Multiple label formats are available under Label Settings.

Click How Does it Look? beside any label format to preview the sample.
Select the desired label format.

Note: If no label format is selected, the system will generate the Offline Custom-Default Label (A5/A4) after shipment creation.

Step 8: Upload Logo (Optional)

Users can upload a logo to be displayed on shipping labels.

Supported file formats:

PNG
GIF
JPEG

Note: Logo upload is not applicable for the Offline Custom-Default Label (A5/A4) format. If no logo is uploaded, the standard shipping label will be generated without a logo.

Step 9: Configure Product Mask (Optional)

By default, the product description is printed on the shipping label.

To hide the actual product description, enter a value in the Product Mask field. The entered value will appear on the label instead of the product description.

Step 10: Add Label Message (Optional)

Enter the required text in the Message field.

The entered message will appear at the bottom of the shipping label.

Step 11: Configure Shipper Settings (Optional)

Enable the required options based on your business requirements:

Hide Shipper Address on Label
Hide Shipper Name on Label
Hide Shipper Company on Label
Hide Entire Shipper Details on Label
Hide Entire Return Address on Label
Hide Invoice Value on Label

These settings allow you to customize the information displayed on the shipping label.

Step 11: Add Point of Contact (POC)

Enter the Point of Contact (POC) details, if available.

If this should be the default contact, enable the Default option.

Step 12: Complete the Configuration

Select the checkbox:
I Agree to the Terms & Conditions of the Carrier
Click Complete.

Step 13: Success Message

After successful configuration, the following confirmation message will be displayed on the Shipper Accounts page:

"Updated credentials successfully!"
