What is POD module in new UI?

1. What is POD?
POD stands for Proof of Delivery. It is a digital document or image confirming that a shipment was successfully delivered to the recipient. The eshipz POD module lets you view, filter, verify, download, and manage POD documents for all shipments from a single centralized dashboard. POD is a paid feature. Hence POD feature can be accessed only if its included in your plan.

2. How do I access the POD module in eshipz?
Step 1:  Login to your eShipz account.
Step 2:  On the left-hand navigation menu, click on Fulfillment.


Step 3:  Under the Fulfillment section, click on POD.
Note: Ensure to check if POD is included in your plan. If its not, then it will not be accessible.


Step 4:  The POD dashboard will load, showing all your shipment POD records.
You will now see the full POD dashboard with AI metrics, summary cards, filters, and the shipment list.

3. How can I filter POD records?
You can filter POD records based on the following options:
  1. Date & Time – Select the required date range to view PODs.
  2. Users – Filter PODs based on users.
  3. Slug – Filter PODs based on shipment slug.
  4. POD Status – View PODs based on their current status.
  5. POD Availability – Filter based on POD availability.

4. What are the different POD statuses available?
The POD section provides visibility into different statuses:
  1. Delivered – Displays successfully delivered shipments.
  2. POD Available – Shows shipments where POD documents are available.
  3. POD Unavailable – Shows shipments where POD documents are not available.
  4. Manually Verified – Displays PODs verified manually.
  5. Verification Pending – Shows PODs waiting for verification.
  6. Rejected – Displays PODs that failed verification.

5. How can I view POD details?
  1. Locate the required shipment from the POD list.
  2. Click on the View (eye) icon available on the right side.

6. How can I download POD documents?
  1. Search for the required shipment.
  2. Click on the Download icon available against the shipment.

  1. The POD document will be downloaded.
7. How does AI POD Verification work?
  • AI POD verification runs automatically every 12 hours.
  • The system analyzes available POD documents and provides verification status along with AI score/confidence.

    8. How can I search for a specific POD?
  • Use the Bulk Search option to search and retrieve multiple POD records based on shipment details.

    1.What is AI POD?
    AI POD is an automated verification system built into your Fulfillment module that uses Artificial Intelligence to verify delivery confirmations — without requiring manual checking by your team.

    2. How often does AI POD Verification run?
    As shown in the dashboard, AI POD verification runs automatically once every 12 hours.

    3. How It Works in Your System?
    Step 1 — Delivery is made
    Driver or delivery agent completes the delivery and captures proof (photo, signature, document)
    Step 2 — POD is submitted
    The proof is uploaded into the system under Fulfillment → POD
    Step 3 — AI verifies automatically
    The AI engine runs every 12 hours automatically and checks each POD for validity
    Step 4 — Results are updated on dashboard

    4. What metrics are displayed on the AI POD Verification dashboard?
    1. Total AI Verified - How many PODs the AI has checked
    2. AI Verification Rate - Percentage of successfully verified PODs
    3. Avg. Confidence - The average AI confidence score for all PODs evaluated by the system
    4. Time Saved - Represents the total manual review time saved through AI verification of PODs, assuming 3 minutes per manual verification 





    Note: Please Note: Both POD and AI POD are premium features on eShipz, but they are priced separately. Subscribing to the POD feature alone does not grant access to AI POD — it must be enabled independently at an additional cost.
